Looking at the wording, it seems like the coins will always drop on the 9th and 18th hole. I don’t know if it’s better or worse that it’s not a random drop on every hole. Although judging by the luck people have had in the past with previous events, definitely better. The key there is:
10 Bronze Coins -> 1 Silver Coin
10 Silver Coins -> 1 Gold Coin

Let’s say every 18 holes you get 2 bronze coins. That means you have to do 90 holes to get 1 silver coin and 900 holes for 1 gold coin. Do you want those golden clubs? 2700 holes. That’s 150, 18 hole games.

I think it would be really, really funny if the drops on the 9th and 18th hole were random.
